If your dashboard does not indicate your reflector number or the version of the software (not the dashboard version number), then there is a problem with your reflector. The most likely possibility is the xlxd service is not running. Less likely, your file system could have entered a read-only mode, which is usually fixed by restarting your server. If the xlxd service is not running, the problem may result from an error in the sample /etc/init.d/xlxd program, unless it has been fixed. The text in the installation instructions is correct, but in the example, the string needs an additional parameter which is either the transcoding server IP or a loop-back address if there is no transcoder: "XLX123 IPaddress 127.0.0.1" Also, the IPaddress (the first parameter after XLXnnn) needs to be the internal IP address if the server is behind a NAT. If the only issue was with the file /etc/init.d/xlxd and you fixed that, you still need to restart the service. On Debian: # systemctl restart xlxd Further help is on the xlx forum at xlxbbs.epf.lu73 John K6KD
