You're welcome. XRF038 added. John[/quote] Thanks again John! It was XRF138... and it is correct in the list. BTW... I would ask that you REMOVE the following: XRF021 - there was another one via XLX021 xlx.projekt-pegasus.net/XRF038 - is now XLX038 (with XRF support) XRF044 - is now XLX044 (with XRF support) FreeStar* is alive in North America, just changed a little. No idea. You can check with them at forum.pistar.ukAt least some time ago - not sure if still accurate: The team that maintains the public list of XLX reflectors provides host file information for XRF, REF, and DCS reflectors that simply mirror the public XLX list without regard to existing non-XLX reflectors using the same prefix. They may exclude REF numbers below some point to not interfere with established legacy REF reflectors. It is up to the providers such as pi-star to substitute information from lists such as this one to ensure the XLX provided information does not override other non-XLX reflectors.

Hello, DEXtra host file for pi-star resolving from xreflector directory as per this info: # DExtra_Hosts.txt downloaded from www.pistar.uk/downloads/DExtra_Hosts.txt# DExtra Hosts resolved from the XReflector Directory (http://xrefl.net), There is XRF387 listed in host file but this reflector is not active for long time, was dedicated for E7 (BA) was hosted here in E7 but not working for long time. Is there any chance that you remove XRF387 195.130.59.77 from database as we wish to deploy XLX387 that will be dedicated to E7 (Bosnia and Herzegovina)? 387 is country code for Bosnia and we wish to have some recognizable number. 73

There is no XRF387 in the directory so I don't know where XRF387 is listed. Recommend contacting developers of hot spots to fix the issue. 73 John K6KD

Please see earlier messages in this thread, specifically ones dated Feb 27, 2019 and Mar 8, 2019 that explain why I am not adding reflectors with this software to the directory. I'm not sure I understand. XRF223 is running xrfd and is not XLX. What software should I be running? The software you're running is called xrfd not xlxd, but it was built by taking the XLX code, doing some mods, and re-branding it, hiding its origin and not giving credit to the XLX developers. If someone wanted to make modifications to software but not hide its origin, there is a way to do it by creating a fork in the GitHub, the repository where the software is available. I created the directory prior to XLX when nearly all XRF reflectors ran code called dxrfd, written by Scott Lawson, KI4LKF. I used to have that software in a Yahoo Group, but Yahoo Groups went away and the software is not readily available. There is no support as far as I know. My recommendation for starting a new reflector would be to use XLX and get it directly from the XLX developers, not some third party. Those reflectors will, if the feature is enabled, be automatically listed in a directory of XLX reflectors. Their site is xlxbbs.epf.lu/ You may have to register on the site, but they have a section for excellent installation instructions, which includes a link to download the software. There are also support sections. 73 John K6KD

Hello john,
Could you please confirm that there is no XRF333 in your list, because the admin from pistar.uk inform me that it receives from you an xrf333 that resolves to xrf333.f1smf.com.

There may have been sometime in the past, but entries are occasionally deleted if the link is no longer pointing to a dashboard. 73 John K6KD

XLX001 has change IP Actual IP is: 80.211.62.178 Dashboard is: 80.211.62.178/73 de IW8ELN Sysop Digiland Italia The current entry in the Directory for XRF001 points to a Dxrfd reflector. If that reflector is no longer used, I can remove it from the Directory. The new IP points to an XLX reflector. That type is no longer listed in the Directory.
